Support for Sideloading and Third-party App Stores: Europe legislation requires Apple to allow for sideloading in 2024. Apple may allow the customer to download apps outside of App Store. It's all necessary to comply with the EU's new Digital Markets Act. It will be only limited to European Union customers. But while other countries pass the similar legislation, the functionality could be expanded.

Support for AR/VR Headset: Apple's mixed reality headset will run on a independent operating system xrOS. But there might be some level of integration between the iPhone and the headset, connected by iOS 17 updates.

Dual App: To clone an app so that separate profile and exist independently. Some people might realize WLB with this feature, such as one WhatsApp account for work and one for personal use.

iMessage redesign: In order to support the AR/VR headset, it is rumored that Apple will update a new version of iMessage that allows AR features in chat room.

Call Recording: From privacy protection perspective, iPhone has no phone calls recording feature so far. It is a little convenient for those who have to record the conversations.
